lowprolounge.com
Lowpro Lounge is a large group of DJs, who fricken rock! DJ James Christopher is my favorite and I’m just starting to get more into the others. It is a lot of break-beat, jungle, and all sorts of mixes. You should definitely check it out.Bio:
Lowpro Lounge has been a consistent source for cutting edge electronic music and innovative party environments in San Francisco for the past three years. Searching out the “new underground” in electronic-acoustic fusion and providing a venue for these emerging sounds is our mission. The San Francisco Bay Guardian newspaper recently said,

“If you’re looking for mind-twisting innovation and a grin-inducing vibe, one place where you can consistently kick your feet up is the Lowpro Lounge. For over two years the club night has broken barriers and moved asses in an effort to build a unique and enduring musical community. Combining on-the-fly P.A. production, turntablism, and instrumental improvisation, the Lowpro experience is never predictable and always stimulating.” -courtesy of tribe.net

The first podcast is my favorite James Christopher set. Live @ Heavyweight Dub Champion, 10-31-07.

The second podcast is of a short-lived side project called Root Science. It is the live set from The Justice League, San Francisco, CA on February 2, 2002. Composed of Zach Velmer (STS9 Drumer), David Murphy (STS9 bassist), DJ James Christopher, Audio Angel, MC Lost, and MC XQR. Some pretty cool stuff, great combination of artists.

Glitch Mob myspace page

If you like Hip-Hop, DJs, electronica, Hype, club shit, glitch-hop, or just like hip-hop and don’t know the other shit, I know you will love this! This is the kinda music I’ve been listening to and getting into lately. So if you wanna be like me, and I know you do, then you should check it out. they have an STS9 after party for one of their new years shows coming up and I’m super jelous of my buddies Zak and Aaron who are gonna be there and at all the other shows :(. Anyways, just click below, trust me.Bio:
When four friends, Ooah, edIt (my personal fav), Boreta, and Kraddy, all noted fixtures on the West Coast underground team up with a creative vision and positive intentions, the result is… A relentless sonic assault on the dance floor of ferocious drums, catastrophic sub bass, and sounds from another world. It is an unforgiving and punishing physical audio experience that will leave your body beat to the core and your soul wanting more. It is the gift of music from this four man hit squad with the intention to unite the masses on the dance floor through trying times. It is the experience of being slayed……
